Fabulous dinner there with our adult children! Service was excellent (thanks, Jules! Hope I'm spelling her name correctly!). Wide variety of food, I had a Reuben sandwich and my husband had a delicious prime rib dinner. Highly recommend! Not inexpensive but well worth it. Our dinner order was put in just before a large group in another room, so they gave us a free appetizer!
I came here for the last day of Sonoran Restaurant week to try the prie fixe menu. I got a peach cream soda, chicken salad toast, mushroom pasta, and banana foster bread pudding. The food was good, but the highlight was actually the service. I got seated almost immediately. The bartender got me my soda quickly, and Emily, my server, was great the whole time. Emily recommended the bread pudding to me and was delightfully personable. As for the food, I was full before dessert even came, but the table next to me ordered lobster rolls that looked and smelled so good that that's on the list to try next time.
Great place and delicious food! I loved the mushroom burger, the baby enjoyed the fettuccine, and my honey was very happy with the bacon burger. The fries were excellent. They also offer dishes with baked brie and great-quality ingredients. I’d suggest turning those ingredients into a pie — that would make it a true 5-star meal! Overall, a great experience 😋
We had a very enjoyable and delicious Mother’s Day brunch yesterday. Our server, Jules J, was excellent. So was the food! Our favorites included the wild mushroom benedict and the florentine omelette. And of course, our granddaughter loved the chocolate chip pancakes. If you haven’t tried out this restaurant yet, please do. We will be back!
The martinis were fab, burgers are awesome and the beer is cold!! The only reason I did not give them five stars is because I did not care for the toast and I feel like it's a major highlight on the menu... everything else was great, will definitely be back. 😍
Awesome brunch for the Tucson Dining Club. Large group of 23 for brunch today. Happy diners great service. I recommend the chicken salad toast.
Absolutely love this place. We came here last year randomly for Sonoran Restaurant Week. We were immediately seated and given the rundown from our server on the menu and his favorites. We ended up going with the fish fry special since it was Friday. WOW. So good! Best fish fry I’ve had around here. Beer was also delicious.
Super clean and bright! Perfect location for my PTSD! Can’t even begin to explain how great the food was. Not cheap but worth every penny! The bartender (Wyatt) and staff were fun and engaging and even introduced us to some other patrons. What a fun time!
Some of the best brunch fare I’ve had in Tucson: today we had the Breakfast Reuben and the Short Rib Eggs Benedict, and both were outstanding. Even love the cabbage apple slaw they serve as a garnish! Service is wonderful, even though there were only two people working. Chef’s kiss! (Sorry about the pic, I couldn’t wait to dig in!)
We’ve eaten and Tandem American Eatery twice in the last few months now and really enjoy it! Lots of restaurants claim to have “elevated” American food or comfort food, or some variation. But Tandem actually delivers on that premise. I’m the type of diner who doesn’t order a wide variety of dishes once I find something I like in a given restaurant, but there are quite a few great looking dishes here, and while I love and tend to order the crispy chicken sandwich whenever I’m here, I finally had the burger on the last visit. And it really WAS all that it’s cracked up to be. I don’t know if it’s the blend of meats, the seasoning, the bacon (yes, the bacon is not to be missed), or all of it together, but it was hugely satisfying. Lots of people say “don’t order a burger here, you can get a burger anywhere; order one of the specialty dishes,” but you gotta try the burger at least once. Lots of variations / preparations too, but I stuck with the classic American with the bacon added. My wife usually orders the lobster roll, which she loves. Not only is the lobster itself really good - not too mayonnaisey or sloppy, not over seasoned, just perfect - but they also have a gluten-free hoagie roll, and the roll itself is pretty good! You usually end sentences like that with “for a gluten-free roll,” but in this case, it’s just a good roll. The chicken wings are excellent as well. Really crispy, but moist and tender on the inside. The skin is just great. And you can get the sauce on the side (we like to control the amount). The natural fries are also just about perfect too. Salt and pepper is our preparation of choice and you can actually taste the pepper!! Like the wings, they’re crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. You can actually taste the potato, not just feel the crunchiness. And the service can’t be beat either.
